Rajen Jaswa, Dad

Raj Jaswa is the President of TiE Silicon Valley, the largest nonprofit dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship.
He was elected in 2003 and re-elected in 2005, and will step down upon reaching the term limit a
t the end of
2008.

From 1996 to 2002, Raj served as co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Selectica (Nasdaq: SLTC), an
enterprise software company. During Raj's tenure, Selectica was named to the Forbes 500, Deloitte & Touche
Technology Fast 500, Software 500, Inc 500, and Interactive Week 500. Selectica reached a peak market value
of $5 billion in 2000.

From 1988 to 1996, Raj served as co-founder, President, and Director of Opti (Nasdaq: OPTI), and previously
as EVP of Sales and Marketing. Opti was the world's largest supplier of PC chipsets. Opti reached a peak
market value of $350 million in 1995.

Raj and wife Kalpana have charitable interests through the Jaswa Charitable Foundation, whose primary
beneficiaries include the Blind Foundation for India, Chinmaya Mission, and Bidada Medical Camp.

Raj serves, or has served, as a Director of Jareva (Symantec), Appstream (Symantec), Blue Pumpkin Software
(Verint), and FusionOps.
Earlier in his career, Raj worked for Intel, General Electric, and Chips &
Technologies. Raj received a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of
Technology, Bombay and a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Kalpana Jaswa, Mom

Kalpana Jaswa is enjoying a more peaceful life without her children at home. Her primary interests are her
family, Chinmaya Mission, and Neiman Marcus. She is completing her first book on h
ealthy vegetarian
cooking and nutrition. She holds a bachelors degree in Nutrition from the University of Bombay, and a masters
degree in Computer Science from Union College.
Rahul Jaswa, Tallest Son

Rahul Jaswa is a junior at UC-Berkeley, where he intends to pursue degrees in Philosophy and Economics.
He is a member of the debate team
, the founder of Community Livelihood, and was previously a member of
the men's lacrosse team
. He also aspires to act in campus theatrical productions because "the girls like that"
and "wouldn't it be cool to be a movie star?"
Sujay Jaswa, Eldest Son

Sujay Jaswa is joining New Enterprise Associates as a Senior Associate in the fall of 2008. In 2005, he  
served as Interim CEO of YFly, a celebrity e
ntertainment website with exclusive participation from several
celebrities and entertainers
. Sujay recapitalized the company, restructured its operations, and launched its
current website.


Previously, Sujay was Director of Business Development at CinemaNow, a leading internet video company,
where he led and originated Echostar's $10 million investment and created partnerships with Linksys/Cisco,
Sprint, AskJeeves, and Facebook.
Sujay joined CinemaNow from Cisco Systems’ Corporate Business
Development group, where he led acquisitions, investments, and strategy in the consumer broadband space.
Sujay co-led investments in CinemaNow and Emergent Game Technologies and developed the financial
model and strategy framework for the $6.9 billion acquisition of Scientific Atlanta.

Earlier in his career, Sujay was a consultant in McKinsey’s Silicon Valley Office, focused on client
engagements in McKinsey's High Tech Practice and Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice.

Sujay graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Economics and certificate in Finance. Sujay is a
founding member of the Generation Next PAC
